Behind The Laptop

Being a blogger has its perks. It also has many, many frustrations. The job also entails reminding clients what their goal is. Reminding clients what SEO really is. Reminding clients they need to pay you. Reminding clients you need topics. Reminding clients you need photos. Sometimes, I feel like I need a to-do list for my to-do list.

I’ve been a writing chameleon for the past ten years. Shape-shifting from rug descriptions, how-to articles, hair and make-up, wedding planning, photography, and anything in between. I love creating my own schedule and being able to tell people “Yeah, I get paid to write!”. I’m excited to announce two new clients I will be writing for: Alison Marie Photography and KiSSandMaKeUp!

You will also be able to follow my wedding planning (personal & professional) as I step into my new role as Event Producer in addition to Blogger at the newly revamped Lauren O & Co. My blog series Blogger to Bride will highlight the obstacles and triumphs of planning my Puerto Rico destination wedding from a wedding planner’s perspective!

Surprisingly enough, freelancing doesn’t always leave a lot of personal blogging time. My goal for 2018 is a creative overhaul. Taking my own advice, this blog will be the start of many featuring blogging tips, events, client features, and so much more.

I’m so excited for what the 2018 has to bring. What are your resolutions?
