I graduated from SUNY Purchase in 2012 with a BA Major of Creative Writing focusing on poetry, and a minor in Literature. I interned at Toadlily Press and Westchester Magazine. After graduation, I landed a job as Chief Marketing Officer of a traveling bridal hair and makeup company. During this time, I pursued freelance blogging and wedding planning. I went back to school at the University of Hartford and received a graduate certificate in Paralegal Studies. I turned my love of writing into a way to help people in my community from injustice. I volunteer with The Phoenix Sober Community to help others in recovery after making some major changes in my lifestyle a year ago. I fueled my passion of writing by finally assembling the book of poems that spans 2008 to today. I express myself with words and am excited to share this collection with the world.
